archive.pl v2.3 released

I have released the next version (2.3) of my archive.pl script that stores URL sets in the Internet Archive. There are two main changes:

  1. I have removed the entire special Twitter support. Autoposting on Twitter is pretty limited now since Elon Musk decided to limit the free API access drastically. And there was a special markup for selecting the image size. This is long gone now. archive.pl could store the image in all sizes at once. This was also removed.
  2. Of course the blacklist was extended. Internet Archive tries to limit scripts like archive.pl due to ongoing load issues. It does not make sense to store pages that only show a login mask again and again.

Head over to the project page in order to get your copy. I recommend strongly to choose the Docker image.
